Me

My name is Claire. I'm a 16 year old junior at Whitney Young High School in Chicago. I'm in Mr. McCarthy's first period British Literature class. I live on the south side of Chicago. I don't like writing about myself. I have a brother, Brice, who just graduated from Whitney Young and is now going to DePaul. I have a dog named Clyde. I leave school after 6th period every day to go to AP studio drawing and painting classes at Gallery 37. I'm a mediocre metalworker. I collect pennies and the little green stem bit on oranges. I like pomegranates and mangoes more than I like most people. My favorite books are Thus Spake Zarathustra, James and the Giant Peach, and I Am the Messenger. My favorite movies are The Royal Tenenbaums, Donnie Darko, Room in Rome, and anything featuring Jay and Silent Bob. I had dreadlocks up until a few weeks ago. I appreciate that Mr.McCarthy plays reggae in the morning.
